How do I verify my identity?
You must verify your identity to gain full access to your account. To verify your identity, you can use one of the following verification methods:
- Verification during the initial deposit process via GiroPay or Sofort
- SofortIdent
- IDNow
If you choose the option of making an initial deposit as part of the registration process, you can do this using the "GiroPay" or "Sofort" payment methods. In this case, the system will check whether the bank details match the player account details you entered.
With the SofortIdent procedure, a combined bank account and SCHUFA-check is carried out by the financial service provider Klarna/Sofort. To do this, you must log into your bank account so that your bank details can be verified with those of the player account. No deposit will be made during this process.
Verification through IDNow is only available to customers if you are using the app or a browser via a smartphone, as IDNow does not support webcams. Within the verification method through IDNow, there are the options of verification through VideoIdent (video phone call with a staff member) or AutoIdent (automated verification process by uploading documents).
