"BackUpBet" Terms and Conditions
1. Introduction
1.1
These Terms and Conditions apply to the specific promotional offers in our sports betting and live betting line-up called and displayed as "Back Up Bet".
1.2
In addition to these Back Up Bet Terms and Conditions, our General Terms and Conditions and our Standard Promotional Terms and Conditions apply.
1.3
In the event of any conflict or inconsistency between these Back Up Bet Terms and Conditions, the Standard Promotional Terms and our General Terms and Conditions, these Back Up Bet Terms and Conditions shall prevail, followed by the Standard Promotional Terms and Conditions and then the General Terms and Conditions but only to the extent necessary to resolve such conflict or inconsistency.
2. Back Up Bet Rules
2.1
A Back Up Bet may be offered to the (verified) customer under the following conditions:
- the customer has made an initial deposit of at least EUR 5; and
- plays a single bet or a combination bet as a live or pre-match bet with a specific stake value and/or odds specified in the specific case; and
- places these on selected sporting events (excluding races).
The Back Up Bet is not available for multiple single bets, system bets or banker bets.
2.2
When placing a Back Up Bet, provided it has been made available to the customer, the customer is given the option of a refund of part or all of his stake in the event that he loses the bet. This refund can be made in various ways:
- as a FreeBet
- as a bonus, which in turn is subject to release conditions; or
- as a credit up to the amount shown.
2.3
An available Back Up Betappears as an option on the bet slip. The customer can either use the Back Up Bet for the bet currently displayed on the bet slip or save it for placing a bet at a later date. A list of all Back Up Bet options is displayed to the customer in the "My Promos" section of the customer account.
2.4
A Back Up Bet is
- only available or usable once; and
- only valid within a certain specified time frame. After expiry, the joker bet is invalid.
2.5
If a bet placed with a Back Up Bet is settled as "won", no refund will be made in accordance with Section 2.2 of these Terms and Conditions and the Back Up Bet is deemed to have been used.
2.6
If a bet placed with a Back Up Bet is settled as "lost", a refund will be made in accordance with section 2.2 of these Terms and Conditions and the Back Up Bet is deemed to have been used.
2.7
If a bet placed with a Back Up Bet is settled as "lost" and the evaluation is later corrected as "won", the customer will receive a part of his stake or the entire stake back (if the bet is settled as "lost") and then the winnings from his bet (if it is settled as "won").
2.8
If a bet placed with a Back Up Bet is settled as "cancelled", no refund will be made in accordance with section 2.2. of these Terms and Conditions. The Back Up Bet is also deemed to have been used.
2.9
If a bet placed with a Back Up Bet is classified as a "dead heat", the dead heat rules apply to the stake and the Back Up Bet will lose its validity. All information on dead heat bets can be found in the betting-rules.
2.10
Only one Back Up Bet can be used per bet slip. A Back Up Bet cannot be combined with other promotions and bonuses.
2.11
ODDSET Sportwetten GmbH reserves the right to accept or reject any bets/stakes on participating sports, betting markets or betting variants if a Back Up Bet has been used or is attempted to be used.
2.12
ODDSET Sportwetten GmbH reserves the right to change, cancel or remove the Back Up Bet feature at any time for any event, match or betting market. All bets placed on such events, games or betting markets prior to such a change, cancellation or removal of a Back Up Bet shall remain as originally placed.
2.13
ODDSET Sportwetten GmbH reserves the right to withdraw the settling of a bet if the bet or the betting market that was placed or wagered with the joker bet was incorrectly evaluated. In this case, the Back Up Bet is forfeited.
2.14
The Back Up Bet per person, household, shared computer or shared IP address and is not transferable in any way and cannot be used in combination with any other promotion.
2.15
ODDSET Sportwetten GmbH reserves the right to place restrictions on the customer account, including deposit restrictions, in order to comply with legal and regulatory obligations. ODDSET GmbH will not be responsible should these restrictions affect the customer’s ability to complete the requirements of any promotion and/or to release any bonus, benefits or prizes.
2.16
The availability of Back Up Bets is not guaranteed for all devices and browser versions. ODDSET Sportwetten GmbH is not responsible if the Back Up Bet is not available for technical reasons. In this case, a placed bet is considered a standard bet.
